Spring is upon us and with its
arrival each year marks Generali USA’s participation in the Kansas City
Corporate Challenge! Started in 1980, the Kansas City Corporate Challenge (KCCC)
is an Olympic games-type event that allows Kansas City Area corporations to
interact with each other through a variety of sporting events while
supporting a local charity!
The Mission of the Kansas City Corporate
Challenge is
to promote health, wellness, and camaraderie
by presenting participants with physical endeavors
designed to challenge their bodies and minds
through the spirit of corporate competition.
KCCC participating companies come in
all shapes and sizes. They vary from over 10,000 employees to companies
with fewer than 25 employees. Participating companies are divided each year
into KCCC Divisions, so companies of the same general size are competing
against one another.
Generali USA’s athletes participate
in many of the games including swimming, bicycling, softball, tennis,
soccer, football and more. It is a great way to have fun and help
others in need.
KCCC supports a local charity each
year. Groups that have benefitted from KCCC in the past are Special
Olympics and Juvenile Diabetes. They also gain exposure to all participating
companies and receive opportunities for additional money-making initiatives
throughout the year.
Generali USA is proud to participate
in the Kansas City Corporate Challenge games each year and help support
local charities. It is our way of giving back to the community while
enjoying team-building athletic games and fostering camaraderie amongst our
employees.
